Ocoee Apopka Road Widening

Apopka, FL

Client: JAG Florida Development Company, LLC

Project Cost:  $9 million

Scope of Services:

·  Designed reconstruction plans for widening an area of Ocoee Apopka Road from Keene Road to Alston Bay Blvd, approximately 3/8-mile in length, providing a re-aligned 4-lane divided roadway with a 12-ft multi-use trail along the western roadway boundary and 5-ft sidewalk along the eastern right-of-way line.

·  Drainage design including exfiltration system and pond siting for a dry retention area and passive park.

·  Design of Mast Arm for signalization.

·  Drainage design and coordination of SJRWMD stormwater and environmental permitting.

·  Coordination with City of Apopka, Orange County, and Workman Group for permitting and adjacent development coordination.
