SR-44 Resurfacing, Restoration, and Rehabilitation (RRR) fro

Project Cost:  $8 million

Project Start: January 2019

Project Completion: October 2022

Scope of Services:

·  Analyzed the existing facility operations and crash data for 4.5 miles of SR44. 

·  Developed safety improvement and service life extension strategies.

·  The project design includes approximately 2-miles of cross slope correction, the addition of bicycle keyholes at existing right turn lanes, and an extension of the eastbound left turn lane at CR-439.

·  Rehabilitate areas of the roadway that experienced differential settlement post construction and no longer provided adequate cross slope for safe wet-weather operations. 

·  Investigated sinkhole activity & developed a remediation plan.
